Pre-purchase of World of Warcraft: Midnight provides early access bonuses! All editions (Base, Heroic, and Epic) include Housing Early Access, and the Epic Edition also comes with Beta and 3-Days Early Access to the Midnight expansion.

IMPORTANT: Specific dates for Beta and Early Access periods will be added to this article as they are announced. All dates are subject to change and may be updated as the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight approaches.

Midnight Beta Access

  • World of Warcraft: Midnight – Epic Edition includes Midnight Beta access
    • Owners of the Epic Edition will receive an email notification when Midnight Beta is available to access.

A Beta is an early version of a game that is still in development, and Beta progress does not carry over to the live game.  Everything you experience in a Beta can improve or change by the time the game is launched. This includes content, graphics, sound, and how well the game performs on your computer. The Midnight Beta is not representative of the final Midnight product.

Housing Early Access

  • Housing Early Access expected to be available during The War Within 11.2.7 content update.
  • All editions of World of Warcraft: Midnight include early access to the new Housing feature. Owners of any Midnight edition will receive an email notification when Housing early access begins.
  • Housing is a feature in active development. With Housing Early Access, you'll get a special preview of the new feature - explore, customize, and decorate with a limited selection before an expanded suite of options arrives with the launch of the expansion.

Midnight 3-Days Early Access

  • World of Warcraft: Midnight – Epic Edition includes 3-Days Early Access to the Midnight expansion.
    • Owners of the Epic Edition will receive an email notification when Midnight early access begins. 
    • Midnight 3-Days Early Access Content - While players can progress to the new maximum level, content available during Midnight Early Access is limited. Most max-level content is not available until the full game release. Early Access allows extra time to start leveling, explore delves and dungeons in Quel'Thalas, and enjoy the new story campaign.
    •  Actual play time subject to possible outages and applicable time zone differences.

Housing Early Access, Midnight Beta Access, and Midnight Early Access all require an active WoW subscription or Game Time. More info on Midnight Beta and Early Access will be available here in the future!
