Common Problems
- I'm getting "world server is down" when I try to log in
- My character won't log in and it says that the world server is down but my other characters can log in fine
If you're receiving this error on all characters, check the Realm Status page and BlizzardCS Twitter for widespread issues.
If this error happens on only one character, you can resolve it by moving the character. If the issue persists, reset your user interface and try again.
11.2.7 Known Issues - We are aware of an issue where players without The War Within expansion are receiving World Server is Down error when attempting to start the Catch-Up experience. If this is your case, you may skip the Cach-Up questline, or play a different character, or buy The War Within. Customer Support is unable to fix this error.
