Common Problems
- Lost access to email, want to change my email address to the one I have access to
- Don't remember the password to my email account
- Unable to change email due to the old email not being verified
To change your Battle.net account email:
- Log in to your Account Details page
- In the Email section, click Update
- Complete verification using an Authenticator code, SMS, or an email code
- Enter the new email address
- We recommend using an email address that is secured with features offered by the email provider
If you are unable to access your account, please try using the account recovery page to access the account and then proceed to update the email.
If you have lost access to your email, first contact your email service provider, and try and recover access to your email account.
If your email has been changed without your consent, refer to our article on Securing a Battle.net Account, and then proceed to our Account Hacked page.
Alternatively, If you have linked an external account (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Apple, Google, Steam, Facebook, etc.), instead of logging in with your Battle.net credentials, click on the external button to login using your third party account credentials.
