Warband Gear Upgrade Discount Not Working for Other Warband Characters
Common Problems
- I am not seeing a discount when I upgrade gear that I have a higher item level for on another character.
- There is no discount to upgrade the second ring.
- I am not receiving discount when upgrading with Valorstones or Harbinger Crests
The Stone discount is Warband-wide and the discounts will be decided by the character in your Warband with the highest item level in that gear slot.
The Crest discount is not Warband-wide until you've earned specific achievements for reaching item level milestones on the character in your Warband with the highest item level in all gear slots. For example, the Weathered of the Undermine achievement requires that a character in your Warband has reached item level 632 in every armor slot.
Once the appropriate achievement is earned, the Crest discount will follow the same rules as the Stone discount. However, the achievement does not unlock crest transmutation at the exchange vendor for the warband. This is still an individual character unlock.
Items you receive via trade from other players will contribute to the discount mechanic only after the trade timer expires.
