Can't Complete Quest Objectives - He Was My Student

Rogue Characters

For Rogue characters, having quest The Unseen Blade (Horde/Alliance) in the quest log can cause Arthas to be immune to attack. To resolve this issue, comlpete this quest and any others in Stormwind that may cause phasing issues with the Uther scenario.

All Characters

We have received multiple reports that characters can become disconnected during this scenario and may fall from the sky into Arathi Highlands. We can confirm it is not working as intended. A fix is planned for this problem.

In the meantime, the community suggests trying the following troubleshooting steps:

• Turning off War Mode if it is enabled
• Disabling several options in the Network settings following the instructions below:
  1. Access the in-game menu (default hot key ESC)
  2. Choose Options
  3. Find System in the menu on the left and choose the Network option
  4. Make sure all three available options are unchecked to disable them:
     • Optimize network for speed
     • Enable IPV6 when available
     • Advanced combat logging
  5. Click Close
• Go to all of the zones in the area and change phasing by speaking to the version of Zidormi in the zones.
• Changing your default UI look to "Classic" may assist, this will change any custom UI you currently use, so please be sure to save that as a template first.
  1. Access the in-game menu (default hot key ESC)
  2. Choose Edit Mode
  3. Save your custom UI if needed, by clicking Save and entering a name for the Preset
  4. Change Layout to Classic (Preset)
