Common Problems

  • I don't want other websites to see my in-game ratings
  • I cannot enable sharing my data with developers
  • I'm worried about my privacy because a fansite is making information about my in-game character public

Sharing your Data with Developers is an option listed in World of Warcraft that allows your account's game data to appear in third party websites, leaderboards, etc.  If you wish to Enable / Disable this feature you can do it by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Privacy & Communications tab on your Battle.net account Management
  2. Scroll down to "Game Data and Profile Privacy"
  3. Enable / Disable the "Share my game data with community developers" option.

Note: If the option doesn't work, but you find it enabled/disabled already, try marking it again, saving your changes and then go back in and change it again to what you wanted and save again.
