- How do I get rid of my deserter penalty?
To leave a Mythic+ dungeon run without penalty, party members must successfully vote to abandon the run. Otherwise, you must finish the dungeon to not be penalized. If another party member has left the instance, and does not return to the dungeon in one minute, that player will receive a penalty and be removed from the group. The remaining members may then leave the run without penalty. Remaining players will be notified via chat when it's safe to leave without penalty.
If you are flagged as a deserter, you must earn the removal of the flagging by completing Mythic+ dungeon runs without quitting. Alternatively, the deserter flagging will eventually fade with time.
Customer Support will not remove the deserter flagging or provide additional details of your penalty. If you feel the system is not working correctly, open a bug report.
Note: Technical issues are not a valid reason for appeal. If your computer or internet connection is having problems, you have the responsibility to other players to stop running Mythic+ until your issue is resolved. See the World of Warcraft Technical Troubleshooting article for assistance.
