Watching tournaments online is a fun and easy way to keep up with your favorite competitive teams and players—and chat is an essential part of that experience. In addition to Twitch’s Community Guidelines, we have a few guidelines to make sure everybody enjoys the broadcast.

  • Don’t use profanity—express yourself using language that is acceptable in most social circles.
  • Don’t use emotes in an offensive (i.e. racist, homophobic, sexist, etc.) manner.
  • Criticism is ok! Criticism that is based on gender, race, appearance, etc is not.
Note: Threats of violence or physical harm; harassment of moderators or Blizzard employees; posting of personal information (doxing); hate-speech; spam bots; attempts to get around spam filters or posting links using alternate characters are prohibited and will result in a ban.
