How Do I Turn Experience Gains On and Off

Enabling and Disabling Experience Gains

To turn your character's experience gain on and off, visit the Experience Eliminator at your faction's capital city:

On Modern World of Warcraft Realms:

• If you are Alliance, speak to Behsten in Stormwind
• If you are Horde, speak to Slahtz in Orgrimmar

Using this service costs 10 gold. 

Experience gains cannot be disabled for:

• Characters on WoW Classic realms
• Characters at level 60 or above (Cataclysm Classic)
• Characters at level 70 or above (Modern only)

Level 60 characters

If your character is level 70 and can't earn experience, make sure that your World of Warcraft account is upgraded to The War Within. You cannot level past 70 without owning The War Within. 

Level 20 characters

You can re-enable experience gains by talking to Behsten in Stormwind or to Slahtz in Orgrimmar. If this doesn't re-enable experience gains for you, contact us.
