Can't Sell Items to Vendor in World of Warcraft

If you receive the message "The merchant doesn't want that item." when using the Sell Junk button, it is likely you have a gray item that does not have a sell value. You will need to remove this item from your bags in some way - for example, destroying it or placing it in your bank - before you are able to use Sell Junk.
